Most 5x4 cameras have a detachable ground glass spring back and once this is removed the aperture left is known as the standard universal Graflock fitting.
It is the aperture where Cut Film Holders are held in place ( by the ground glass spring back) and where roll film backs are attached via lock levers on the rear of the camera. It is in this Graflock international aperture that these Digital Back adapter options are attached.
