The term X large panoramic for special sizes on rollfilm was not yet known when Linhof presented their first oversized rollfilm camera over 25 years ago: the Technorama 617 was so successful with its dramatic 3:1 aspect ratio that other cameras soon followed. Linhof were the innovators of panoramic formats and lead the way with the 6x17 and 6x12 cms options.

The Technorama 612 PC II with its 2:1 aspect ratio combines the advantages of large format image wth the benefits of 120 Rollfilm. A precision machined die-cast camera body and a highly precise view finder produce images of outstanding large format pictures quality. 6 exposures Rollfilm 120, 12 exposures 220.
The lenses feature built-in 8mm lens rise, that gives the effect of a shift lens offering total perspective control both with high or low camera angles for avoiding converging lines. The detachable viewfinder of the Technorama 612 PC II offers the following features: Reflected spirit level for reliably framing the orientation of the camera.

Linhof has now added 4 new lenses to its STREETWORKERs panorama camera Technorama 612 pc II with the dynamic ratio of 1 : 2. 5 interchangeable lenses with individual angles of view are now available. All lenses are equipped with especially long dimensioned helical mounts for precise focusing even at close-range. The integrated anti-shock supports of the tubes provide an optimum mechanical protection for the shutter release system facilitating the perfect positioning of the camera

Three new bright-light frame viewfinder systems are offered: A twin-finder for 58/120mm, 80/150mm and one individual finder for 180mm lenses. The built-in pre-shift of 8mm helps to avoid converging lines. The new lenses will enlarge the classic wide-angle photography of 93° to unusual panorama images with an effective tele angle of 37°.
