We were pleased to attend the Hasselblad ShootLDN event and launched three special CFV–50c Technical Kits.
Launched at Shoot London 2014, CFV-50c digital back technical kits:
Housing a 50Mpixel CMOS sensor (43.8mm x 32.9mm), the CFV-50c offers Hasselblads legendary image quality, boasting a usable sensitivity of up to 6400ISO, 14.5 stops of dynamic range, exposure times of up to 12 minutes and 16-bit colour.
The CFV-50c is compatible with technical cameras when using a V-fit adapter plate. The CFV-50c also sees the introduction of Hasselblad’s new Live View functionality, enabling technical camera users direct focussing without the need for Ground Glass focus or sliding plates.
The technical camera packages have been put together to provide an easy “off the shelf” technical camera setup, taking away any confusion photographers may have when putting together bespoke packages, with each of the three packages carefully selected to appeal to varying budgets and photographic requirements. All packages come complete with everything you need to start taking images, including the appropriate adapter plates and cables.
The three packages are:
Alpa STC Kit:
– Alpa STC Camera & Grip
-Rodenstock HR Alpagon 40mm f4 Lens and Swing/Tilt adapter
– Hasselblad CFV-50c Digital Back
– Direct Adapter for the CFV-50c
This combination will allow a compact solution with rise and fall or stitching facility with full camera movements. The design of this modular system offers a shift facility that can be used horizontally or vertically – front or back, therefore allowing a stitch facility on the rear and rise, or cross on the front (or rear) 36mm (18mm each way). The tilt/swing adapter (17mm) can be used to allow the full range of movements with selected lenses from 32mm.

The field camera solution offering full movements. Geared rise and fall on the rear and full geared direct and indirect movements on the front. (stitching back can be an optional extra).
Silvestri BiCam III Kit:
– Silvestri BiCam III Camera (15mm + 15mm front rise & fall and rear lateral shift 15mm + 15mm)
– Lightweight and compact 43mm Apo Digitar XL Lens
– Hasselblad CFV-50c Digital Back
– Direct Adapter for the CFV-50c
With the rear shift this camera also offers intergral stitching possibilities.
